Trains near the river, Dubuque
I was invited to attend a week long plein air contest in Dubuque, Iowa. We painted all week long in various areas of the city. Running into the other artist while out painting was a joy. At the end of the week we showed our work in the historic Steeple Square Center, formerly St. Mary's Parish. I was thrilled to find out one of my paintings of the river won first place.
